Whose cries rang afar
And the untold stories fell apart
They came out of flames
That burnt down the ark
Yet the fate of ashes lurked in the dark
Look ahead, look ahead
Who rose in the mists
He was bane of heroes
That were doomed to ruin
He who crusted the flowers
The roses, heathers and clovers
Oh remember their blood
Oh remember their tears
They dropped on the barren lands
Where no life could bloom
Oh I heard their wail
Oh I saw them fail
Yet the knees unbent stood forever
In the depths of the cosmo
Far away was their homeland
In despair they crooned the songs
That signaled the end of time
When the sands face the mountains
What can be done
They could only tower
Until the last blood was shed
Oh remember their anguish
Oh remember their pains
They told the tales of the fallen reign
Oh I heard their wail
Oh I saw them fail
Yet the knees unbent stood forever
Perhaps one day we can hear the whisper
Of the dust that lingered
And we will make out the legend of
The young souls that rest hither
